Sri Lanka Introduces Visa-Free Entry for 35 Countries

Starting October 1, 2024, Sri Lanka will offer visa-free entry for citizens of 35 countries, including India, the UK, and the US, as part of a six-month initiative to boost tourism by streamlining travel processes.


VFS Global to streamline Algerian visa applications with new centres in India

Beginning September 01, 2024, VFS Global will start accepting Algeria visa applications at its New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad centres. This new arrangement simplifies the application process for residents of India, who previously had to submit their applications exclusively through the Algeria Embassy in Delhi.

Applicants can now conveniently choose from multiple centres to submit their visa applications, pay fees, and receive their visas within 6 business days. The available visa categories include Business, Tourist, Work, Temporary Work, Family, and Cultural Visas, catering to various travel needs.


EU to replace passport stamps with Digital system for Non-EU travellers

Europe is set to launch the Entry/Exit System (EES) in November 2024, to replace traditional passport stamps with digital records and biometric data for non-EU travellers. This new EES system aims to streamline border crossings and improve security.

Poland Appointment Allocation of Mumbai Jurisdiction

Appointment allocation for the Mumbai Jurisdiction will be available on August 30th and September 13th, 2024 at 3:00 PM for October 2024.



UKVI will temporarily suspend the Super Priority Service at all locations

Due to a scheduled system change on September 10th and 11th, the UKVI will temporarily suspend the Super Priority Service at all locations. During this period, customers will not be able to select or purchase the Super Priority Service online, nor upgrade to it at the Visa Application Centre.

The Priority Service will remain available, although there may be slight processing delays.

Normal services will resume on September 12th. If you require the Super Priority Service, please plan to schedule your appointment before September 10th or after September 11th.


Increase in New Zealand visa fee

Effective October 1, new visa fees will be introduced to cover the costs of visa processing more accurately and reflect the benefits provided by immigration services.

This new regulation has increased visa fees for various different visa categories and nationalities.
