UAE Visa Updates:

  • Important UAE update by the GDRFA Dubai, For travellers travelling to UAE, if you stay in the UAE beyond 7 days past the specified duration on your visa, absconding charges will be applied from the 8th day.

Our advice: Travellers should exit the country or file for a visa extension before it expires


  • Due to increased security measures and passenger profiling at UAE airports, travellers on a tourist or visit visa must carry the following documents to avoid the risk of deportation:

    Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of departure

    Return Ticket: A confirmed return ticket is mandatory

    Proof of Accommodation: Proof of accommodation at a hotel or residence is required

    Bank Statement: A recent 6-month bank statement demonstrating sufficient funds to cover expenses in the UAE, with a minimum balance or credit limit of AED 3000, is required

    Minors (under 18 years):

    Tourist Visa: Must be accompanied by at least one parent

    Unaccompanied Minor on Visit Visa: Must possess a family visa issued by a parent or a sponsor

    Family-Sponsored Visit Visa: If traveling with a close family member, or relative, or as an Unaccompanied Minor, one parent must be present in the UAE on a residence visa to receive the child. A copy of the parent's residence visa is required for immigration clearance at the UAE airport. If it is not a family visit, either parent must accompany the child


*Passengers who do not meet these guidelines may not be permitted to board by any airline at the departure airport


Schengen Visa Fee Hike:

Starting June 11, 2024, Schengen visa fees have increased for most applicants

The Schengen visa fee has increased, affecting the majority of applicants. This adjustment is part of a broader effort to streamline and enhance visa processing within the Schengen Area, which comprises 27 European countries.

Adult applicants: The visa fee will increase from €80 to €90.

Children (aged 6-12): The fee will go up from €40 to €45.


Thailand Visa Updates:

  1. Thailand extends visa-free entry for Indian and Taiwanese tourists until November 11, 2024, boosting tourism.
  2. Thailand has extended visa-free entry for Indian passport holders to 60 days, effective from June 1, 2024. This initiative, lasting until November 11, 2024, aims to boost tourism by simplifying travel. Travelers can now explore Thailand’s diverse attractions and enjoy longer stays without a visa.
